ficalheiro: hello from south portugal, i have a 2006 honda nt700v with about 21.500 miles. posting here the pros and cons. remember, my version is an earlier european model, some things might gotten fixed on this. downsides: lack of power, only 65bhp. a lot of vibration due to the v2 engine at higher rpm's, up to 70mph you wont notice unless above 200 mile trip. heat between your legs tires lose air bad plastics quality needs 6th gear upsides fabulous torque, due to the v2 engine mileage storage	knoxundead: its not a review, its marketing tell us the cons too...

daedalx: okay, i wasn't impressed until i saw the pass thru saddlebags. impressive.	daedalx: more gauges than my car.
bkiser: this bike is so disappointing. honda should have brought over the transalp to compete with the vstrom. same bike as the dullville, but with removable bags and oh so much better looking.	alleyhse: i would consider this bike but am concerned about strong open road crosswinds here in the midwest. this was the downfall of our former pc800 honda you could not keep it on the road in crosswinds.

3619Country: not much of a review. i looked at one at my dealer. it looks like a good bike. i have a st1100 and its not a good bike for riding around town and going slow. its more of a highway bike. this one seems a lot lighter and sits lower. that is two good points in its favor. i wonder how it would do on a long tour it has about 65 hp. that is not bad for the engine size, but might be low for loaded touring on the highway. i put over 1000 miles on mine in one day. i wanted a gold wing that day.	simon44: this is called a varadero 700 in europe.
