toyotas2006: a fair review somewhere in between the s500 and s600 in price, power, and prestige much better efficiency than either. will give similar performance to the 550 awd, but about 25 30 better efficiency much slower than a 600, but will probably double the efficiency between the awd, battery and motor torque, luxury toys front rear , efficient operation and emissions, and value compared to the germans, hard to find weaknesses. one of those cars that makes you say "what can't it do "

coolerdude44: ok that's something we can agree on, i think the honda fcx clarity is the car of the future. but i think the hybrid system only has one place in the motor industry. i think it is a worthy substitution for a supercharger or a turbocharger. look at the lexus gs450h, that car actually gets fewer mpg's than it's v6 and v8 counterparts, yet gets better performance. and better fuel economy than if they had strapped a supercharger to the v6.	happyboyy8k: in addition, the hot fuel coming back to the tank will raise the fuel temperature in the tank, cause condensation and contribute to microbial contamination, fuel break down, bio fouling and the buildup of sludge and acid. you dont see these on hybrid system. that why volt came out, but it too expensive, get honda clarity.
happyboyy8k: any device in the fuel system exposing the fuel to stress heat and pressure such as pumps or centrifuges will increase the formation of asphaltenes. if you have seen fuel that has turned dark, or almost black, in comparison to clear, bright fuel, then you have witnessed the results of this process. this degraded, dark fuel negatively impacts combustion.	happyboyy8k: i didnt say that diesel is bad. everything have good and bad side of it, hybrid and diesel are the future. diesel is good and hybrid also very good only you said it bad..ha..ha .
coolerdude44: the prius only gets 45 mpg, in europe, the diesel jeep patriot gets 50 mpg. that's a diesel suv getting more mpg than the greenest hybrid. the greenest car is the vw polo bluemotion diesel which gets 74 mpg. still think hybrids are the answer	coolerdude44: the hybrid s class is coming to america simply because we're too stupid to buy a diesel. here are the facts... after 100,000 miles, every hybrid will need it's battery packs replaced, which will cost 3k to 7k. and, many scientists have proven that if you look at the entire life of the car from mining the materials to build it to the day it goes to the junkyard a hummer is actually more environmentally friendly than a 2nd gen toyota prius.

coolerdude44: lexus just copies bmw and mercedes. this car is their best attempt, but it's no s class. this just has more useless technology, the s class has toys that are actually useful, and probably has the most comfortable ride this side of a citroen c6.
